Which equipment use for for videowalls building depend on the purpose of the installation. If this construction will be used as a big display with different information, including advertising or it will be the platform for powerful multimedia effects. In the first case high-budget solutions are not always needed, but in the second the most expensive professional screens and software, player controlling system for each module and special content will be used.
It is important to find right correlation between target sizes and forms of future video wall and the content resolution. If, for example, the purpose of videowall is to broadcast advertising spots it has no sense to use Full HD displays to build the wall, because nobody will make advertising content in so high resolution and the image on the wall will be in low quality or the very small image visible only in a close distance. Moreover if video wall will have outsized configuration more likely that the advertising can’t be broadcasted, just specially created content.
